I’M GABRIELE ROSSI…
I am an Italian freelance photographer born in 1990 based in Genoa.
Born in the same city that gave rise to the singer-songwriter Fabrizio De Andrè, thanks to the lyrics of his songs, in which he put the theme of oppressed or marginalized minorities at the center of the scene, since I was a boy I found some behaviors and social problems of great interest that concerned human beings and societies.
Through my projects I try to document some of the contemporary issues, examining their causes and the social and anthropological aspects that characterize them.
The reportages i have realized have received national and international awards such as the gold medal at the Tokyo Award, first place at the Fine art Award, the 3rd place at the IPA award, shortlist at Kolga Tbilisi and others and they have been published in international and national magazines such as Il Fatto Quotidiano Millennium, InsideOver, Il Fotografo, Witness Journal, ReVista Harvard Review of Latin America, L’Oeil de la Photographie, and others.
